Candescence is a music production and performance structure dedicated to contemporary classical creation.

It supports artistic projects led by composer Victoire Yau, in collaboration with professional ensembles and guest performers.

A creative process

Candescence develops and produces original musical works, from composition to live performance. It organizes:

• commissioned works

• rehearsal sessions with professional ensembles

• concerts and performances

The aim is to connect musical writing directly with its performance space and its encounter with audiences.

Openness

Initially rooted in the compositional work of Victoire Yau, Candescence is intended to gradually open up to other practices within contemporary creation.

In the future, it may host guest composers and collaborative artistic projects.
